Signing of Performance Targets with GCG: PPMC’s Path to Excellence

On February 19, 2024, Poro Point Management Corporation (PPMC), led by its President and CEO, Atty. Felix S. Racadio, attended the 2024 Signing of Performance Targets with the Governance Commission for GOCCs (GCG) in Makati City. Following the deliberation, GCG’s Chairperson Atty. Marius P. Corpus and PPMC’s President & CEO, Atty. Felix S. Racadio, signed PPMC’s 2024 Performance Scorecard.
 
PPMC’s strategic objectives encompass increasing economic activity and operating profitability; improving the business environment; achieving stakeholder satisfaction; streamlining services provided; institutionalizing a Quality Management System; developing a professional, competent, and motivated workforce; and automating key processes.
 
In attendance were GCG Chairperson Atty. Marius P. Corpus, GCG Commissioner Atty. Brian Keith F. Hosaka and GCG Commissioner Geraldine Marie Berberabe-Martinez, together with PPMC President & CEO Atty. Felix S. Racadio, PPMC VP for HR & Administration Ms. Maria Victoria Redempta DG Soriano, PPMC VP for Airport Management Dr. Josefa Catherine T. Bada, PPMC VP for Infrastructure Management Engr. Cerila A. Corpuz, PPMC Business Development Manager Ms. Eliza M. Maconocido, PPMC Finance Manager Ms. Lenima B. Judan, and other officers and staff of GCG.

Poro Point Management Corporation

The Poro Point Freeport Zone used to house the former Wallace Air Station. The enactment of Republic Act 7227 (Bases Conversion and Development Act) on March 19, 1992 and Proclamation No. 216 on July 27, 1993 effectively transferred the stewardship of the Freeport to the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) to facilitate its conversion into a productive economic growth center.
