Description:

Poro Point Management Corporation (PPMC) through its Corporate Social Responsibility program – Health, Education and Environment, Livelihood Program, Strengthening Linkages/Sports (HELPS) had actively participated in Brigada Eskwela 2023, themed “Bayanihan Para sa Matatag na Paaralan.”

As a demonstration of our unwavering commitment to corporate social responsibility, PPMC initiated a beautification program for San Agustin (Poro) Elementary School last September 22, 2023.

As part of this endeavor, PPMC organized the revitalization of the school’s library, with dedicated PPMC employees volunteering to repaint it. Furthermore, we supplied essential cleaning materials and additional paint to enhance the school’s educational environment.

At PPMC, we firmly believe in the transformative impact of education and the significance of community cooperation. Together, we aspire to create an improved and conducive learning space for the students at San Agustin Elementary School.

The enactment of Republic Act 7227 (Bases Conversion and Development Act) on March 19, 1992 and Proclamation No. 216 on July 27, 1993 effectively transferred the stewardship of the Freeport to the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) to facilitate its conversion into a productive economic growth center.
