PPMC’s CFR Team Responds to San Fernando Wet Market Fire.

In response to today’s incident at the Wet Market in the City of San Fernando, La Union, Poro Point Management Corporation’s Crash, Fire, and Rescue (CFR) Team rushed to the scene and worked tirelessly to support the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) to bring the situation under control.
The PPMC CFR Team consistently demonstrates readiness to serve and protect the community in times of crisis. This event serves as a testament to their steadfast commitment to ensuring the safety of the people of San Fernando.

Poro Point Management Corporation

The Poro Point Freeport Zone used to house the former Wallace Air Station. The enactment of Republic Act 7227 (Bases Conversion and Development Act) on March 19, 1992 and Proclamation No. 216 on July 27, 1993 effectively transferred the stewardship of the Freeport to the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) to facilitate its conversion into a productive economic growth center.
