As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)- Program Health, Education/Environment, Livelihood Program, and Strengthening Linkages/Sports (HELPS), Poro Point Management Corporation (PPMC) continuously supports efforts to transform educational institutions into a safe place for students.
On June 29, 2026, PPMC contributed cleaning supplies to the Tubao National High School to assist in the restoration and maintenance of school facilities affected by the recent typhoons.
PPMC continues to strengthen partnerships with educational institutions and local communities across Northern Luzon, reaffirming its dedication to supporting education and community development.
The Poro Point Freeport Zone used to house the former Wallace Air Station. The enactment of Republic Act 7227 (Bases Conversion and Development Act) on March 19, 1992 and Proclamation No. 216 on July 27, 1993 effectively transferred the stewardship of the Freeport to the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) to facilitate its conversion into a productive economic growth center.
