Poro Point Management Corporation (PPMC) welcomes its Interim Chairman of the Board, Hon. Nicky A. Oller, and Interim President and Chief Executive Officer, Hon. Servillano C. Flores, Jr.
Duly elected by the PPMC Board of Directors, the newly appointed interim officials formally took their oath of office on October 15, 2025, at the Provincial Government of La Union, presided over by La Union Governor, Hon. Mario Eduardo C. Ortega. Interim Chairman Oller and Interim PCEO Flores bring with them their extensive experience and a shared dedication to promoting economic growth and sustainable development within the Poro Point Freeport Zone.
PPMC welcomes their leadership and looks forward to achieving the company’s goals and vision of transforming the Poro Point Freeport into an innovative economic engine of growth in North Luzon under their guidance.
The Poro Point Freeport Zone used to house the former Wallace Air Station. The enactment of Republic Act 7227 (Bases Conversion and Development Act) on March 19, 1992 and Proclamation No. 216 on July 27, 1993 effectively transferred the stewardship of the Freeport to the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) to facilitate its conversion into a productive economic growth center.
