The Poro Point Management Corporation (PPMC) headed by President and CEO Hon. Servillano C. Flores, Jr. hosted the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) Internal Audit Team for the Exit Audit Conference at the PPMC building on July 21, 2026.
The conference served as a venue for the BCDA Internal Audit Team to present and discuss the audit observations arising from its audit of the CY 2025 funds and subsidies provided to PPMC. The discussion is part of the validation process before the finalization of the audit report.
The constructive dialogue underscored the strong partnership between PPMC and BCDA in promoting sound financial management and continuous organizational improvement.
The Poro Point Freeport Zone used to house the former Wallace Air Station. The enactment of Republic Act 7227 (Bases Conversion and Development Act) on March 19, 1992 and Proclamation No. 216 on July 27, 1993 effectively transferred the stewardship of the Freeport to the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) to facilitate its conversion into a productive economic growth center.
