Description:

The Poro Point Management Corporation (PPMC) continues to strengthen its operational capabilities and responsiveness through the acquisition of new service vehicles and heavy equipment, as well as improvements of its facilities through BCDA.
In line with these efforts, Rev. Fr. Dexter L. Rivera officiated the blessing of the service vehicles, heavy equipment and facilities to seek God’s guidance and protection for the safety and well-being of PPMC employees, stakeholders, and all individuals who work in the Poro Point Freeport Zone and utilize these facilities and equipment.
The acquisition of additional vehicles, equipment and continuous improvement of facilities reflects PPMC’s strong commitment to enhancing operational efficiency, maintaining reliable services, and providing a safe, secure, and conducive work environment within the Poro Point Freeport Zone (PPFZ).

Poro Point Management Corporation

The Poro Point Freeport Zone used to house the former Wallace Air Station. The enactment of Republic Act 7227 (Bases Conversion and Development Act) on March 19, 1992 and Proclamation No. 216 on July 27, 1993 effectively transferred the stewardship of the Freeport to the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) to facilitate its conversion into a productive economic growth center.
