Poro Point Management Corporation (PPMC), led by its President and CEO, and OIC Chairman of the Board of Directors, Atty. Felix S. Racadio attended the 2025 PPMC Performance Target Conference (PTC) with the Governance Commission for GOCCs (GCG) on March 25, 2025, at Makati City.
The conference resulted in the finalization of PPMC’s 2025 Performance Scorecard which was signed by GCG Commissioner Atty. Geraldine Marie Berberabe-Martinez and PPMC’s President & CEO, Atty. Felix S. Racadio. PPMC outlined eight strategic objectives: to increase economic activity; increase operating profitability; achieve stakeholders’ satisfaction; streamline services; institutionalize Quality Management System and Environmental Management System; develop a professional, competent, and motivated workforce; automate key processes; and achieve business resilience.
Also in attendance were PPMC VP for HR & Administration Ms. Maria Victoria Redempta DG Soriano, PPMC VP for Infrastructure Management Engr. Cerila A. Corpuz, PPMC Business Development Manager Ms. Eliza M. Maconocido, PPMC Finance Manager Ms. Lenima B. Judan, and other officers and staff of GCG.
PPMC continues to focus on governance and organizational development.
The Poro Point Freeport Zone used to house the former Wallace Air Station. The enactment of Republic Act 7227 (Bases Conversion and Development Act) on March 19, 1992 and Proclamation No. 216 on July 27, 1993 effectively transferred the stewardship of the Freeport to the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) to facilitate its conversion into a productive economic growth center.
