PPMC presents PPFZ to potential investors.

Poro Point Management Corporation (PPMC) with PPA, PGLU & PPIC through the initiative of DOT assisted representatives of Asia Landmark Tours & Travels, Inc.- Hongkong Ms. Nana Zheng Cruise Ship Department Tour Manager and Ms. Jessica Deng, Cruise Department Sales Manager together with Ms Sheryl Corpuz and Mr. Ian Cavardo.
PPMC presented the tourism and worldclass facilities inside the Poro Point Freeport Zone – Thunderbird Resorts and Casinos, the historical Poro Point Lighthouse and the Poro Point Baywalk with Events Center.
It was also discussed that the San Fernando International Seaport can accommodate all types of vessels from Cruise Ships to Fishing Boats. MV Calypso and MV Astor were among the Cruise Ships that berthed before to this international seaport.
It was followed by an ocular inspection by the group.
Nearby attractions and destinations for shorex were visited like the surfing area, loom weaving, macho temple, pasalubong center and grape farms .
A great start and a great hope in bringing again Cruise Ships in our Province.

Poro Point Management Corporation

The Poro Point Freeport Zone used to house the former Wallace Air Station. The enactment of Republic Act 7227 (Bases Conversion and Development Act) on March 19, 1992 and Proclamation No. 216 on July 27, 1993 effectively transferred the stewardship of the Freeport to the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) to facilitate its conversion into a productive economic growth center.
