PPMC personnel participated in the Records Management Orientation conducted by the National Archives of the Philippines (NAP) on July 17-18, 2024 at the PPMC Administration Building.
The two-day orientation on Records Management provided PPMC employees with the knowledge and skills to conduct systematic and economical records management activities.
It highlighted the significance of safeguarding important records, ensuring effective governance and delivery of public service. A total of 18 employees attended the training.
PPMC is committed to maintaining high standards of record-keeping contributing to the organization’s efficiency and the quality of services provided to the public.
The Poro Point Freeport Zone used to house the former Wallace Air Station. The enactment of Republic Act 7227 (Bases Conversion and Development Act) on March 19, 1992 and Proclamation No. 216 on July 27, 1993 effectively transferred the stewardship of the Freeport to the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) to facilitate its conversion into a productive economic growth center.
