Poro Point Management Corporation (PPMC) joined the 9th Convergence of Luzon ICT Champions Conference and Exhibitions (ClickConEx) 2025 on April 3-5, 2025, at the Agora Hall, Thunderbird Resorts.
The event, themed as “Synergy for Creative, Smart, and Inclusive Communities,” gathered organizations, industry leaders, innovators, and specialists to demonstrate the recent digital trends and solutions in the digital space. The event also showcased the City of San Fernando and the Province of La Union as growing ICT hubs and investment destinations, promoting economic growth and innovation in rural areas.
PPMC remains committed to supporting transformational digital initiatives like the ClickConEx that bridge technological boundaries and create opportunities for communities globally.
The Poro Point Freeport Zone used to house the former Wallace Air Station. The enactment of Republic Act 7227 (Bases Conversion and Development Act) on March 19, 1992 and Proclamation No. 216 on July 27, 1993 effectively transferred the stewardship of the Freeport to the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) to facilitate its conversion into a productive economic growth center.
