PPMC joins the Philippine Investment Roadshow in Osaka, Japan

The Poro Point Management Corporation (PPMC) joined the Philippine Investment Roadshow in Osaka, Japan last November 13-18, 2023 together with the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA), Subic-Clark Alliance for Development (SCAD), Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) and the Authority Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB), to promote the Poro Point Freeport Zone as an investment destination in North Luzon, Philippines. Organized by the Philippine Trade and Investment Center (PTIC) Osaka, PPMC was represented by its Director, President & CEO, and OIC Chairman of

the Board, Atty. Felix S. Racadio; Dr. Josefa Catherine T. Bada, Vice President for Airport Management; and Ms. Eliza M. Maconocido, Business Development Manager.
The Investment Roadshow featured an investment forum, visits to different big Japanese corporations, business matching sessions, and strategic engagements which provided an opportunity for PPMC’s networking and promote the investment areas of the Poro Point Freeport Zone to various Japanese companies and businesses.

Poro Point Management Corporation

The Poro Point Freeport Zone used to house the former Wallace Air Station. The enactment of Republic Act 7227 (Bases Conversion and Development Act) on March 19, 1992 and Proclamation No. 216 on July 27, 1993 effectively transferred the stewardship of the Freeport to the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) to facilitate its conversion into a productive economic growth center.
