Day 2 : Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA), mother company of Poro Point Management Corporation (PPMC), presented Land Use Planning Strategies to Strengthen Housing Initiatives and BCDA’s Plans and Programs for Housing In the Country during the 27th National Convention of CREBA.
PPMC and BCDA continue to work together in order to attain their common goal which is to convert the former military reservations into economic hubs in the Philippines to generate revenue and employment.
PPMC is part of The BCDA Group alongside with CLark Development Corporation, Clark International Airport and John Hay Management Corporation.

Poro Point Management Corporation

The Poro Point Freeport Zone used to house the former Wallace Air Station. The enactment of Republic Act 7227 (Bases Conversion and Development Act) on March 19, 1992 and Proclamation No. 216 on July 27, 1993 effectively transferred the stewardship of the Freeport to the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) to facilitate its conversion into a productive economic growth center.
