PPMC, headed by its President & CEO Atty. Felix S. Racadio, attended the 13th Anniversary Celebration of the Governance Commission for Government Owned or Controlled Corporations (GOCC) Governance Act of 2011 on June 4, 2024, at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC), Pasay City, Manila.
With the theme “Thriving at Thirteen: GCG’s Governance for All – Diversity, Sustainability, and Excellence,” the celebration focused on the key advocacies of the Governance Commission. The event was highlighted by GOCC’s signing the Commitment of Sustainable Development on Gender Equity, Environmental Protection, and Corporate Governance.
PPMC remains dedicated to upholding principles of good corporate governance and sustainable development in all endeavors. Demonstrating this commitment, PPMC President & CEO Atty. Felix S. Racadio signed the pledge for GCG’s Sustainable Governance.
The Poro Point Freeport Zone used to house the former Wallace Air Station. The enactment of Republic Act 7227 (Bases Conversion and Development Act) on March 19, 1992 and Proclamation No. 216 on July 27, 1993 effectively transferred the stewardship of the Freeport to the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) to facilitate its conversion into a productive economic growth center.
