Midyear Performance Assessment and Corporate Planning Session: PPMC Pushes Forward Strategic Objectives

PPMC completed its midyear performance assessment and corporate planning session held at the Forest Lodge Hotel, Baguio City on July 11-12, 2024. The session marked a significant milestone in the organization’s strategic development. PPMC, led by its President & CEO Atty. Felix S. Racadio together with PPMC Board of Directors and PPMC Management Committee participated in the said event. BCDA Chairman Delfin Lorenzana also graced the event and asked PPMC to continue to develop the Poro Point Freeport Zone to its full potential.

The session fostered an in-depth discussion on the organization’s achievements and future initiatives. It emphasized PPMC’s commitment to continuous strategic development and progress, which are fueled by the collaborative efforts of the organization’s leadership and stakeholders.

Poro Point Management Corporation

The Poro Point Freeport Zone used to house the former Wallace Air Station. The enactment of Republic Act 7227 (Bases Conversion and Development Act) on March 19, 1992 and Proclamation No. 216 on July 27, 1993 effectively transferred the stewardship of the Freeport to the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) to facilitate its conversion into a productive economic growth center.
