In observance of the holidays declared by Malacañang Palace (Proclamation No. 727 s. 2024, Proclamation No. 1006 s .2025 and Memorandum Circular No. 111 s. 2025), PPMC Office will be closed from December 24 to 25, 2025 and from December 29, 2025 to Janaury 2, 2026. The San Fernando Airport, San Fernando International Seaport and offices providing security, disaster response, health, and other essential services will remain open.
Regular office hours will resume on January 5, 2026.

The Poro Point Freeport Zone used to house the former Wallace Air Station. The enactment of Republic Act 7227 (Bases Conversion and Development Act) on March 19, 1992 and Proclamation No. 216 on July 27, 1993 effectively transferred the stewardship of the Freeport to the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) to facilitate its conversion into a productive economic growth center.
