AUTHOR: JGCB

Description:

The Euro Xtreme Circus held a press conference on April 22, 2026, at the J&V Hotel and Resort, in preparation for its upcoming show in La Union. In attendance were representatives from Art Box Entertainment, Bases Conversion and Development Authority, Poro Point Management Corporation, and the Department of Tourism Region 1.

Produced by Art Box Entertainment, the production builds on the company’s experience in staging international circus shows in the Philippines. It builds on a long-standing effort to bring high-quality entertainment to communities across the country.

According to the Executive Producer of Art Box Entertainment, Mr. Kenneth Lee, the production aims “to bring the circus to the people, delivering world-class entertainment wherever they are, not only in major cities.” Choosing Poro Point Management Corporation as the venue highlights its strategic and accessible location, well-suited for events that support tourism and local economic activity.

The international circus will run from April 28 to May 24, 2026, at the Poro Point Baywalk Area, Poro Point Freeport Zone. Euro Xtreme Circus features a combination of circus performances and stunt acts, including aerial routines, clown performances, the Wheel of Suspense, the Globe of Terror, flying trapeze, and FMX motorcycle stunts. The show is open to the general public and is also pet-friendly.

Following successful runs in Mindanao and the Visayas, the Euro Xtreme Circus is ready to bring this experience to La Union. Tickets are currently available both online and at the venue, with special promotional offers available for selected performance dates.

The Poro Point Freeport Zone used to house the former Wallace Air Station. The enactment of Republic Act 7227 (Bases Conversion and Development Act) on March 19, 1992 and Proclamation No. 216 on July 27, 1993 effectively transferred the stewardship of the Freeport to the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) to facilitate its conversion into a productive economic growth center.
