Building the Future: PPMC and DHSUD Strengthen Alliance for National Housing Program

Poro Point Management Corporation (PPMC) and the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) formally signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on April 29, 2025, at the DHSUD Central Office, Quezon City. This event aimed to strengthen the collaboration of PPMC & DHSUD in support of the Pambansang Pabahay Para sa Pilipino Program (4PH)—the government’s flagship housing initiative of His Excellency President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr.

PPMC President & CEO Atty. Felix S. Racadio and DHSUD Undersecretary Emmanuel D. Pineda led the signing of the MOU. Also present at the event were PPMC Director Servillano C. Flores Jr., DHSUD Director Jam Banzon, and Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) Vice President, Land & Assets Development Department Engr. Richard M. Cepe. This strategic partnership reaffirms PPMC’s unwavering support for DHSUD’s mission to provide accessible, affordable, and sustainable housing to Filipino families.

PPMC is dedicated to ensure the success and sustainability of housing communities under the Pambansang Pabahay program.

Poro Point Management Corporation

The Poro Point Freeport Zone used to house the former Wallace Air Station. The enactment of Republic Act 7227 (Bases Conversion and Development Act) on March 19, 1992 and Proclamation No. 216 on July 27, 1993 effectively transferred the stewardship of the Freeport to the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) to facilitate its conversion into a productive economic growth center.
