BCDA’s VP for Security visits PPMC.

Bases Conversion and Development Authority’s (BCDA) Vice President for Security Management Department Retired BGen Henry G. Sabarre visited Poro Point Management Corporation (PPMC) last February 15, 2024. PPMC Management and Director Joel Caringal warmly welcomed Retired BGen Sabarre.
 
The meet and greet provided a valuable opportunity for PPMC to engage directly with Retired BGen Sabarre and gain insights into security management strategies. Attendees had the chance to exchange ideas and foster collaborative efforts aimed at enhancing security measures within our organization.

Poro Point Management Corporation

The Poro Point Freeport Zone used to house the former Wallace Air Station. The enactment of Republic Act 7227 (Bases Conversion and Development Act) on March 19, 1992 and Proclamation No. 216 on July 27, 1993 effectively transferred the stewardship of the Freeport to the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) to facilitate its conversion into a productive economic growth center.
