This milestone marks 11 years of full compliance, with the corporation recording zero nonconformities.

The comprehensive audit evaluated PPMC’s quality management system, which included core and support processes, documented procedures, and ISO-compliant practices. TÜV Nord’s assessment affirmed the corporation’s strong internal controls and effective quality systems across all operations. This achievement reflects the collective dedication of PPMC to uphold the highest standards of quality and service.

The Poro Point Freeport Zone used to house the former Wallace Air Station. The enactment of Republic Act 7227 (Bases Conversion and Development Act) on March 19, 1992 and Proclamation No. 216 on July 27, 1993 effectively transferred the stewardship of the Freeport to the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) to facilitate its conversion into a productive economic growth center.
