In celebration of the 126th anniversary of the Philippine Civil Service (PCS), the Civil Service Commission ((CSC) Region I conducted a purposeful Fun Run on September 13, 2026, carrying the theme “Lingkod Bayani Run 2026: Stride as One, Serve the Nation.”
Held at the Poro Point Baywalk, Poro Point Freeport Zone (PPFZ), the event brought together 3,389 participants from diverse government agencies and organizations. The run symbolized the collective stride of public servants and institutions, united in their commitment to serve the Filipino people with dedication and integrity.
Beyond fostering camaraderie and wellness, the Fun Run also served a noble cause—raising funds for the Pamanang Lingkod Bayani (PLBi) program, which honors public servants who gave their lives in the faithful performance of duty.
