DMMMSU hosts Fun Run at the Poro Point Baywalk

The Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University (DMMMSU) Faculty Association spearheaded a Fun Run for a Cause on April 25, 2025, at the Poro Point Baywalk. The said event was attended by 576 participants.

Dubbed “Faculty Day Run for a Cause Race for Recovery,” the event aimed to not only unify the faculty members and DMMMSU management in fostering peace, harmony, and a healthy working environment but also to promote socio-economic welfare, especially to teaching personnel who need financial assistance brought on by severe medical illnesses.

LEIAAI hosts Fun Run at the Poro Point Baywalk

Leading Edge International Aviation Academy, Inc. successfully held a Fun Run event at the Poro Point Baywalk on April 12, 2025.

Dubbed as “Soar Higher, Run Together,” the event was attended by 83 individuals, including students and guests. The fun run is one of the initiatives of the Supreme Student Council Officers of the Aviation Maintenance Technology School (AMTS) aimed to promote fitness and community engagement among fellow students, comrades, and other enthusiasts.

The Bureau of Fire Protection La Union Provincial Office—Region 1 successfully held a Fun Run at the Poro Point Baywalk on March 15, 2025.

As part of the Fire Prevention Month Celebration, the event, dubbed as LUnited Fun Run 2025, was participated by 312 individuals. The fun run is one of the initiatives of the organization to increase the participation of the public in recreational activities, promote a healthy lifestyle, and boost public awareness about fire safety.

BFP CSFLU Fire Station conducts Fire Prevention Month Kick-Off Ceremony.

The Bureau of Fire Protection City of San Fernando Fire Station held its annual Fire Prevention Month Kick-Off Ceremony on March 1, 2025, at the Poro Point Baywalk. The motorcade served as the start of the month-long observance by the BFP, which was participated in by 8 various organizations. Among the participants was the Poro Point Management Corporation (PPMC), represented by its Crash, Fire, and Rescue (PPMC-CFR) Team. PPMC joins the nation in supporting initiatives to build a fire-safe and conscious community.

Iglesia Ni Cristo Christian Family Organization hosts a successful Family Fun Run

The large attendance at BHC’s event demonstrates its dedication to creating a healthy and connected school community through meaningful activities that unite families.

Poro Point Baywalk Welcomes First Beach Wedding Event
