PPMC Promotes Child Health at Catbangen Central School

Poro Point Management Corporation (PPMC), through its Corporate Social Responsibility program—Health, Education and Environment; Livelihood Program, Strengthening Linkages/Sports (HELPS), distributed essential vitamins to students at Catbangen Central School on February 14, 2025.

PPMC employees distributed vitamin supplements to 38 children to boost wellness and nutritional needs. This project demonstrates PPMC’s dedication to spreading hope through meaningful community service initiatives like the vitamin distribution program. PPMC continues to create a positive impact in children’s lives through sustainable health and wellness programs.

The Poro Point Freeport Zone used to house the former Wallace Air Station. The enactment of Republic Act 7227 (Bases Conversion and Development Act) on March 19, 1992 and Proclamation No. 216 on July 27, 1993 effectively transferred the stewardship of the Freeport to the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) to facilitate its conversion into a productive economic growth center.
