Poro Point Management Corporation (PPMC) through its Corporate Social Responsibility program – Health, Education and Environment, Livelihood Program, Strengthening Linkages/Sports (HELPS), held an outreach program at the San Agustin Elementary School and Catbangen Elementary School on December 19, 2024.
PPMC employees distributed FREE food packets, rice, and vitamins to children in both schools, to meet their urgent nutritional needs while boosting wellness among young students.
This project demonstrates PPMC’s dedication to giving back to the community, particularly during the holiday season, to spread hope and compassion.
PPMC remains committed to supporting community development and care, ensuring no kid is left behind.
The Poro Point Freeport Zone used to house the former Wallace Air Station. The enactment of Republic Act 7227 (Bases Conversion and Development Act) on March 19, 1992 and Proclamation No. 216 on July 27, 1993 effectively transferred the stewardship of the Freeport to the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) to facilitate its conversion into a productive economic growth center.
